Financial Aid and Tuition Management
Appreciating the hardships many families are making in choosing a Catholic education, St. Mary Interparochial School remains committed to working with each family to provide flexibility when meeting your financial obligations.
St. Mary Interparochial School is happy to announce that we have received over $500,000 in EITC/OSTC funding through BLOCS, Foundation for Catholic Education, and Children’s Scholarship Fund Philadelphia organizations. If you applied for the Children's Scholarship Fund and qualified for an award, you should have received a notification. These tax designations are imperative to making an outstanding Catholic education accessible for many of our St. Mary students. This impressive tuition assistance is made possible by PA businesses and individuals directing their tax dollars to our school through the PA EITC and OSTC Tax Program. We are very grateful for this support!
FACTS Tuition Assistance
If you have not applied for tuition assistance, you may do so by using the FACTS application. Our school code is SMIS-PA. We strongly encourage all families to apply for financial aid. To apply for financial aid through FACTS, please visit https://factsmgt.com.

BLOCS, CSFP and FCE
Each year, Business Leadership Organized for Catholic Schools (BLOCS), Children's Scholarship Fund of Philadelphia (CSFP), and the Foundation for Catholic Education (FCE) provides thousands of need-based scholarships to students in the Philadelphia area to support attending a Catholic School.
Business Leadership Organized for Catholic Schools (BLOCS)
BLOCS works within the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania EITC & OSTC guidelines and uses an outside scholarship administrator to determine eligibility for scholarship grants. Families can apply for BLOCS scholarships and financial aid through FACTS by visiting https://factsmgt.com.
Various tax credit programs are available as a means to donate to BLOCS. Your donation plays a vital role in allowing all students the opportunity to attend a private, Catholic school regardless of race, religion, or ability to pay. Click here to learn more.
Children's Scholarship Fund of Philadelphia (CSFP)
Children's Scholarship Fund Philadelphia is a privately-funded program providing eligible children with access to quality, safe, K-8th grade, tuition-based schools. Scholarship recipients are selected by lottery and must meet eligibility requirements. The CSFP lottery period begins in September and runs until March.
Foundation for Catholic Education (FCE)
the Foundation for Catholic Education is a not-for-profit organization supporting the Executive Board of Elementary Education and the County Advisory Councils throughout the Archdiocese of Philadelphia.
Their goal is to leverage the EITC and OSTC programs to maintain and increase the enrollment in our Catholic Elementary Schools by providing families access to an affordable parochial education. The advisory councils have demonstrated their commitment to the cause through the continued distribution of EITC and OSTC funding as well as supporting school needs on an individual basis. To learn more about FCE and how to support EITC/OSTC programs, click here.
TuitionCare is truly a win-win in that you can redirect your state tax dollars to support Catholic Education, receive a 90% tax credit for your contribution, and help reduce tuition for all St. Mary K-8 families! To participate in TuitionCare, all you need to do is contribute to the Educational Improvement Tax Credit (EITC) program. You can contribute up to your PA tax liability, which can be found on line 12 of your PA-40 Tax Form. For every individual that participates, the school will receive $1,000 which is then distributed evenly among all K-8 school families in the form of a Tuition Reduction Grant.
If you would like to participate, complete this commitment form and return to Christina Haciski via mail or email. Or you can complete the commitment form online through the TuitionCare website: https://www.tuitioncare.org/join-today
